Make a difference.

As the Purchasing Assistant you will provide administrative support for Inventory Planners and other purchasing staff. This is a part-time position.

In this role you will:

Expedite all purchase orders placed with suppliers, based on established policy.
Key all supplier return purchase orders.
Ensure all shipping instructions and return requirements are properly communicated.
Coordinate scrap ticket parameters with Inventory Planners, and key all scrap and junk tickets.
Prepare department reports.
Provide other administrative support as needed.

What you bring to the table:

Minimum 1 year of experience required in sales, marketing, or purchasing
High school diploma or GED required 
Data entry skills
Office administration skills
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal departments and external suppliers
