As part of the Visa Sponsorship Program, we hereby provide this notice of the filing or yet to be filed Applications for Alien Labor Certification for various positions for Registered Nurses (Schedule A positions).

EMPLOYER’S NAME: ALTA HOSPITALS SYSTEM, LLC

POSITION TITLE: REGISTERED NURSE

POSITION DUTIES: Provide nursing care for patients in acute care hospital; Assist physicians & others in medical team in treatments & procedures; Maintain patient records; Administer narcotics; Assess, coordinate, document, & implement nursing care plan for patients.

RATE OF PAY: $35.37 per hour. This prevailing wage rate is valid 11/25/2020 to 06/30/2021. The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor and/or the union bargained for minimum wage agreement.

LOCATION/S OF EMPLOYMENT: Southern California Hospitals - Los Angeles County

Southern California Hospital - Culver City: 3828 Delmas Terrace, Culver City, CA 90232
Los Angeles Community Hospital: 4081 E. Olympic Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90023
Additional work sites in Los Angeles County as permitted.

Any person may provide documentary evidence bearing on the application to the Certifying Officer at the U.S. Department of Labor.

From the day it opened as an eight-bed clinic in 1925, Southern California Hospital at Culver City (SCH-CC) has dedicated itself to providing quality care to the culturally diverse populations of the Culver City and West Los Angeles communities. SCH-CC is part of the Southern California Healthcare System, which includes Southern California Hospital at Hollywood and Southern California Hospital at Van Nuys. With a combined bed capacity of over 570 beds, the three-hospital system represents the fourth-largest combined facility in the greater Los Angeles region.

Now at 420 beds, SCH-CC is a general acute care hospital that utilizes many of the latest medical treatments and technologies. The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient acute care services, including an orthopedic center, cardiovascular services, acute rehabilitation, sub-acute care, psychiatric care and chemical dependency programs. Additionally, SCH-CC operates a 24-hour emergency services center, which serves as a paramedic receiving station and is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and nurse specialists.
