Senior Software Engineer (Sterling OMS)
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with hands on experience on Sterling Order Management System (OMS) and Java technologies to help with ongoing development with our engineering team. The engineer will be working closely with product, architecture, engineering and business teams to develop and implement cutting edge solutions.
Required Skillsets:
* Minimum 6+ years of work experience in Sterling Order Management System with Java programming.
* 3+ Years experience in implementation of eCommerce/OMS solutions for omni-channel retailers.
* Experience with configuration and development using OMS components, agents, services, API's, related interfaces.
* Experience in creating Technical design documents for Sterling OMS.
* Hands-on experience programming with XML, SOA, REST, JSON.
* Experience in Java/EE and specifically in developing Java based extensions of Sterling.
* Proficient in tools like Eclipse IDE, SoapUI is required.
* Experience in writing complex queries in SQL, Scripts.
* Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools like JIRA, GitHub/Bitbucket
* Data delivery mechanisms using FTP, HTTPS, REST, Webservices, and Queues
* Ability to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction is preferred.
* Strong team player with good communication & interpersonal skills.
Desired Skillsets:
* Training/Certification on Sterling OMS is desired.
* Experience in working with OMS Call Center module is a plus.
* AWS Cloud integration experience is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Serve as a core member of an engineering team that develops software applications.
* Develop code, write unit tests, work on automating solutions, conduct code reviews and provide assistance with testing as needed.
* Perform proof-of-concepts in new technologies and keep skills current.
* Provide on-call production support as needed.
Experience/Education:
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience required.
