What youll do on a typical day:

* Establish, promote and maintain a culture dedicated to exceptional customer service
* Model and inspire professional response and resolution to all customer inquiries and concerns regarding orders and shipments
* Engage with drivers and fill in for dispatch supervisors when needed; occasionally take driver calls after hours or on weekends to ensure customer needs are promptly addressed
* Train and ensure proper utilization of the transportation management system, and maintain appropriate documentation
* Maintain QMS databases and conduct employee training; update and maintain systems and databases
* Gather and report KPIs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

* 4 years of experience in customer service
* 2 years of experience in a warehousing or distribution center environment
* Knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations
* Experience with Microsoft Office

Itd be great if you also have:

* Bachelors degree in a related field
* Availability to travel up to 25% of the time to various sites in the area
* 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience
* Experience with EDI and TMW software
* Knowledge of transportation operations and driver management
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
