What youll do on a typical day:
* Work with the Regional Service Centers, Customer Service, Sales, Pricing and Network teams to achieve XPO corporate margin and service goals
* Compile and analyze transactional financial and operations data from business intelligence (ISOPS) and source systems to evaluate gaps in planned costs and efficiencies
* Collaborate with Customer Service, Pricing and Operations to implement dray improvement strategies
* Develop and maintain dray and fleet market costing, street efficiency metrics and drayage competitive data in the Pricing Workbench
* Provide consultative support to the business through data analyses and recommend efficiency improvements, including identifying cost control methodologies at a market level
* Assist with monthly executive reporting package, identifying changes in market conditions, summarizing efficiency improvements and recapping other market related issues
* Perform ad hoc analyses and project management as needed
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youll need:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent related work or military experience
* 1 year of logistics or transportation experience
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Itd be great if you also have:
* 3+ years related experience
* Bachelors degree in Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management or Business
* Intermodal-related experience
* Experience in Microsoft SQL
* Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
* Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources and develop, recommend and implement solutions
