Job Description

As we continue to increase our focus on supporting and becoming central to the operations of our business banking customers, we are seeking a Communications Manager who will help define and orchestrate integrated communications that support the banks growth strategies for these clients. This includes generating internal alignment around an enterprise-wide approach to the segment, as well as increasing awareness of U.S. Bank as a leader in Business Banking products and services.

Responsibilities include:

Developing internal and external communications plans for strategic initiatives, employee-engagement projects, and product launches.
Partnering closely with Marketing on plans to achieve business goals.
Executing on visibility planning (internal and external) for group leader and other key executives.
Generating positive awareness and coverage of the banks small-business segment. May include creating PR/media strategies and coordinating with the broader Communications team to secure earned media placements.
Serving as a communications consultant the business line.
Providing communications support for business-line leaders.
Writing and editing press releases, as well as developing content for the companys intranet page external site, and other communications channels.

Basic Qualifications
BA/MBA in communications, journalism or related field, or equivalent work experience
10 or more years of related experience in communications and communications strategy, with proven ability to deliver results

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong strategic and project-management skills
Knowledge of the banking industry
Well-developed analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Highly motivated individual who demonstrates a strong level of creativity and critical thinking

Salary range reflected is an estimate of base pay and is for the primary location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $109,735.00 - $129,100.00 - $142,010.00
