As a Mental Health Associate, you will:

* Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
* Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
* Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
* Assist with patient groups and activities

With proper training, you will work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs.

You will be trained on psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma informed care, therapeutic boundaries, crisis intervention techniques, and CPR.

Our Part Time positions are 24 hours per week, every other weekend and every other holiday. Positions are available on Day, Evening and Night shifts and differentials are paid for hours on evenings, nights, weekends and major holidays.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or equivalent

College students who have obtained or are pursuing their degree in behavioral health, psychology or human services are strongly preferred

Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, impeccable judgment & professionalism, and the ability to maintain composure in a crisis situation
