Position Location: Greer, SC
Position Responsibilities:
The Yard Driver is responsive to the Site Supervisor and Site Leads regarding the movement and spotting of containers to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage. In addition, it is responsible for timely movements and thorough knowledge of on-hand inventory and positioning.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for moving and positioning trailers
Responsible for interfacing with Yard Management Software
Responsible for Pre and Post shift equipment inspection
Responsible for communicating with supervisors and/or leads on updated trailer positioning
Qualifications:
1. Must have a valid Class A CDL, including all required endorsements
2. 1 year of heavy equipment/truck operation
3. Must have experience/ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift
4. Good communication skills
