Client Engagement Managers lead and run a group of Senior Financial Consultants who concentrate their efforts on our prospects and high net worth clients. The day to day outlook is focused on closing sales opportunities, client check-ins, sales pipeline management, and helping to deliver an outstanding client experience.
Role Summary
Directs a large team of professional staff. Guides professionals, responsible for selling the organization's products and services to regional, complex clients and/or client retention and account growth. May continue to sell to/advise a limited portfolio of key clients. Contributes to regional achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities
* Identifies areas of focus for achieving incremental growth and implements protocols to guide Sales and Relationship Management teams in integrating these focus areas into their sales and relationship management strategies.
* Implements changes to the sales and relationship management process and activities to increase efficiency, incremental account growth, client retention, and sales wins. Collaborates with other sales, relationship management, and client services teams to ensure a seamless sales and client experience and coordinate levels of service across the business. Serves as an escalation point for critical service issues or roadblocks; shepherds issues through to resolution. Analyzes trends on escalated service issues, developing process improvement recommendations.
* Tracks and reports on sales strategy/relationship plan and results for the region. Implements and reports on function metrics and dashboards. Coaches and guides assigned staff on improving the execution of the relationship plan and achieving annual goals, as well as stretch goals or longer-term objectives.
* Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff/management team, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to build and sustain a team culture of efficiency and quality. Accountable for the financial and human resources of a large department/multiple departments
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
* 8+ years of total relevant work experience
* 2+ years of management experience
* Series 7 and 66
Preferred:
* 24 (obtained within 6 months of hire)
* CRPC
* Experience holding individuals accountable to meeting sales targets
