Position summary:
This position provides securities licensed administrative support to IntentGen Financial Partners. This position serves as a resource to Financial Representatives and clients in handling, researching, and communicating information regarding their broker/dealer related solutions. The role also supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: answering calls and emails from clients, preparing the advisors with all appropriate forms/files to run their meetings, ensuring that all service work and new business is processed quickly and efficiently to the highest degree of accuracy, utilizing Purshe Kaplan Sterling, Thrivent, and other various carriers computer systems in support of client relations, supporting variable product related tasks, and other administrative duties as assigned. This position reports to and is employed by IntentGen Financial Partners.

The role also supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: answering calls and emails from clients, preparing the advisors with all appropriate forms/files to run their meetings, ensuring that all service work and new business is processed quickly and efficiently to the highest degree of accuracy, utilizing Purshe Kaplan Sterling, Thrivent, and other various carriers computer systems in support of client relations, supporting variable product related tasks, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

* Prepares, submits, and tracks pending applications, contributions, distributions, transfers, and contract changes for clients
* Provides information and answers questions related to broker/dealer products for both advisors and clients utilizing verbal and written communication
* Collaborates with financial associates to assist clients with the purchase, sale, or exchange of broker/dealer product investments
* May prepare or coordinate the preparation of correspondence, reports, or special projects as needed
* Updates tasks within the client management system with information pertaining to client activities
* Assists Financial Representatives in the preparation for and follow up after client meetings
* Conducts substantive information gathering that will be used with making product recommendations or providing investment advice (e.g. conducting due diligence, etc.)
* Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with licensure and business needs

Position Qualifications

* Experience in the financial services industry required
* Must be securities registered with series 6 & 63 and Life & Health in the state of IL or be willing to do so within 120 days of hire/contract
* Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 2+ years preferred
* Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Familiarity with Salesforce based CRM recommended
* Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
