Job Description
Vehicle Management Systems Engineer
Seeking an experienced in rotary wing vehicle management systems engineer to design, develop, integrate and test equipment and capabilities targeted to Future Vertical Lift platforms. Specific responsibilities:
* Continue design and development of the Data Concentrator Unit which includes:
* Coordination with suppliers
* Requirements, interface and systems specifications management
* Oversight of the system safety assessment process
* Testing in our System Integration and Test Laboratories
* Component and aircraft level system qualification and certification
* Support of aircraft ground and flight testing
* Coordination with other program integrated product teams including electrical power, flight controls, propulsion, airframe structures, rotors, fuel, hydraulics and drive systems to evolve the overall Vehicle Management Systems Design maturing the overall aircraft design
