Overview:
Candidates will be required to respond to a variety of inquiries in a fast-paced environment including requests for quotation and requests for detailed product information. Candidates will support the overall sales effort by providing equipment recommendations, quotes and information to Outside Sales Representatives, external distributors and end-customers.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure proper selection, use and application of crushing and screening equipment.
* Provide accurate technical estimations of equipment and plant performance.
* Provide on-site equipment performance maximization analysis and application troubleshooting, with recommendations for improvement.
* Create plant flow sheets (AggFlow) and layout.
* Work closely and communicate effectively with Terex regional managers, engineers, inside salespeople and distributors.
* Prepare equipment quotations for customers and distributors.
* Complete technical spec sheets.
* Investigate new applications for existing products.
* Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
* Assist with reporting required for department.
* Manage projects by working as the liaison with engineering, purchasing, traffic and manufacturing for machine orders.
* Provides back-up support for sales managers in the field.
* Provides customers with technical assistance to select the best possible solution for their application.
Basic Qualifications:
* 6 months experience working in a manufacturing environment
* 6 months working with Auto-Cad and/or SolidWorks/Pro-E
* High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
* BS Mechanical Engineering
* Ability to manipulate existing drawings
* Experience with layout programs (Aggflow, Visio, ACAD, 3D Modeling), technical specs and estimations/quotations of equipment
* Crushing and screening equipment industry experience a plus
* Ability to travel up to 25%
