Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the extraction, analyses and submission of data and reporting in support of Sempra&x27;s federal, state and local compliance efforts, including AAPs, EEO1, and VETS4221. Examine and communicate results to help inform strategic goals and contribute to the progress of Sempra&x27;s diversity &amp&x3b; inclusion efforts. Support D&amp&x3b;I team in programmatic efforts to drive diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging across the Sempra family of companies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develops and manages the official Affirmative Action Plans &x28;AAP&x29; on behalf of Sempra Energy Corporate Center and all Business Units. Recommends corrective actions, prepares and files required responses and submissions, in compliance with federal and state laws.  Compile and complete federal and state reporting including EEO1, VETS4221, VEVVRA and CA&x2f;DFEH pay data reporting&x3b; communicate project plans, provide briefings and acquire leadership signoff as needed&x3b; support internal reporting and presentations.* Assesses financial exposure and other risks to the corporation related to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Planning. Collaborates with Corporate Law Department, HR partners and outside counsel to implement strategies to mitigate those risks.Serves as Corporate liaison and first line of contact to the US Department of Labor-Equal Employment Opportunity Commission &x28;EEOC&x29; and Office of Federal Contracts Compliance Programs &x28;OFCCP&x29;, California Department of Fair Employment Housing &x28;DFEH&x29; and other agencies on formal EEO&x2f;Employment complaints and audits, Affirmative Action Planning, and related issues.* Partner with HR IT and data teams to develop and improve reporting for compliance activities&x3b; ensure data integrity and design data systems to help meet reporting and compliance requirements&x3b; monitor regulatory and legislative changes and improvise systems to meet reporting needs.* Maintain and handle department share drives in compliance with record management guidelines&x3b; establish protocols and train team to work efficiently across shared platforms.* Support D&amp&x3b;I programs, including the development and improvement of dashboards and stay abreast of industry trends and provide recommendations to help formulate department goals and company strategic plans. * Performs other duties as assigned &x28;no more than 5&x25; of duties&x29;.

Sempra Energy’s Sempra Mexico segment develops, owns and operates, or holds interests in natural gas, electric, LNG, LPG, ethane, and liquid fuels infrastructure; and engages in the purchase of LNG, and purchase and sale of natural gas.

This segment operates a natural-gas-fired combined-cycle plant and two wind power generation facilities. Its assets/facilities consisted of 1,353 miles of natural gas transmission pipelines, 12 compressor stations, 139 miles of ethane pipelines, 118 miles of LPG pipelines, and 1 LPG storage terminal. The company was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in San Diego, California.
