The Opportunity

Qurate Retail Group (QRG) is seeking a Director, QxH Inbound Supply Chain and Product Central who will lead the QxH Inbound Supply Chain function providing complete end to end inbound solutions to meet the needs of the Merchandising and Commerce function, fulfillment network and vendor base.

Your Impact

* Responsible for providing the QXH business with high quality inbound freight & transportation industry expertise, utilizing deep insight, knowledge and experience to set the QXH Inbound Freight strategy to develop a flexible inbound network that can pivot between priorities including speed v cost to meet QXH current and future demands.

* Responsible for strategically designing and implementing industry leading, highly complex and bespoke global transportation networks / solutions with a high focus on improving speed to market and regionalization of the fulfilment network at optimal CPUs.

* To select and lead the contract negotiations with multiple ( 19 ) third party partners with an annual spend of circa $100mm ( contracts renewed half yearly, yearly and bi-annually).

* To be continually agile and on a weekly / monthly basis take advantage of the Freight market fluctuations in capacity and costs by allocating QXH inbound freight volume between multiple partners to take advantage of current best possible services at the lowest overall cost.

* To proactively manage the performance of all third party partners.

* To lead the QXH Inbound Freight / Transport team, the Reverse Logistics outbound shipping team (RTV) and the QXH Inbound Transport teams ( for each FC) ensuring a smooth flow of product to support the FC network operations and minimizing Assessorial costs.

What You Bring

* Bachelor Degree in Business or Supply Chain

* Educated to a degree level in professional qualification for MCIPS (Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) or similiar
