The Opportunity

The Creative Project Manager will work directly with the Brand Strategist, Brand Creative team, and business stakeholders, including all levels of leadership, to scope, plan, manage, and drive all steps in the project lifecycle. The Creative Project Manager leads project planning to ensure key milestones are hit and projects stay on track to deliver on time, on budget and to required specifications, moving through obstacles, or adjusting to changing priorities. The Creative Project Manager determines necessary steps to deliver each project efficiently, develops and drives timelines, manages schedule and scope of the project, and leverages a variety of internal tools. Creative deliverables include but are not limited to strategies, design and collateral materials, social and digital content, web, video, and streaming elements, events & environmental branding.

Who we are

The team is responsible for driving Brand Strategy projects of varying size and complexity through the project lifecycle, from initiation, strategy, planning, design, execution, and monitoring, through Legal review and approval to closure of a project. The Creative Project Manager supports all aspects of Brand Strategy and creative development projects across the brands of Qurate Retail Group.

Your Impact

The Creative Project Manager will oversee all phases of the project, coordinating information with internal and external business partners. The Creative Project Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining multiple, simultaneous projectssome complex in natureensuring adherence to project management best practices and project management methodology (Agile) as a guide.

The Creative Project Manager must flex between critical/strategic thinking, the tactical delivery of tasks, and the connections between. The Creative Project Manager will set and vigilantly manage project expectations with the Brand Strategy, Creative, Scenic and Environmental teams as well as external, cross-functional team members. The Creative Project Manager is responsible for communicating updates on major milestones, keeping all stakeholders informed of changes or obstacles. The Creative Project Manager is also responsible for monitoring progress, providing regular overviews of projects, team workload and advises department management on resource decisions, availability and concerns.

Strong relationship-building skills are critical to success in this role, along with clear and consistent written and oral communication. A demonstrated aptitude for applying project management methodologies and deciphering organizational dynamics is important. Additionally, the Creative Project Manager will recommend and implement process improvements and act as a change agent to champion new processes/tools within the organization. The Creative Project Manager is responsible for entering key data into internal tools maintaining communication, broad visibility of projects and resources for accurate planning across the Brand Strategy team.

What You Bring

* Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or Multi-Media related field required
* 7+ years of experience in Project Management, Creative Services or related fields with experience in a matrixed environment.
* Workflow, project and team management experience required. Experience leading projects or initiatives involving teams or multiple stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience scoping and leading complex projects in a business environment and effectively managing deadlines
* Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office 365 programs, Sharepoint and Creative Workflow tools.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of design, photography, video, print and/or graphic production workflow required. Resource/ Budget planning experience required.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
* Media asset management experience preferred.
