As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of the development team. In this role, you will be supporting existing applications that have been developed for the Customer Service teammates to help service customers. In some scenarios, new features may be developed into the existing applications. The applications encompass the full spectrum of .Net applications, including desktop applications, windows services, web services and web applications; as well as JavaScript/Node.js applications, including the Electron framework.
* 5+ years of application development experience using C, ASP.net, Node.Js, JavaScript, WinForms, WPF, WCF and web technologies involving all aspects of the application (UI, core client, web client, server, message bus, DB integration, service)
* Required: Experience with developing MVC web applications with React or other frontend frameworks.
* Experience with Node.Js/JavaScript
* Experience with WPF (desktop development) or other MVVM pattern.
* Experience with SQL, JSON
* Preferred: Experience with DevOps tools/concepts: Jenkins build agents, automated testing frameworks, etc.
* Multi-threading experience.
* Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.5/8.5
* Experience with the Atlassian products (JIRA, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence, etc)
* Agile tool development, paired programming
* Full software development experience, from specification to delivery
* Must have strong emphasis on usability and a passion for turning large amounts of data into actionable information
* Ability to learn quickly, work in a distributed team environment and demonstrate a high amount of engagement
* Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical users
* Preferred: experience developing aesthetic UI/UX
