We are looking for stellar software engineers to join our Alternative Payments Platform team and help us expand our support for various regional and global payment types rapidly. In this opportunity you will be delivering to critical business needs, responsible for scalability and performance of the current platform, as well as enhance the core platform capabilities for future use cases.

Responsibilities:

* Design, implement and test complex, multi-tier distributed software applications collaboratively with peers and technical leaders
* Be a problem solver and drive to get results
* Able to find and help fix performance, scalability and other live issues in a time critical environment
* Prototype ideas quickly using cutting edge technologies
* Communicate effectively to peers and leadership on tasks and projects

Requirements:

* Bachelors or masters degree or equivalent in computer science or related field with minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience.
* Excellent knowledge and programming experience in Java
* Very strong foundational knowledge in Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms and Software Engineering
* Understanding around concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs
* Experience with databases (relational or NoSQL) and related technologies (hibernate)
* Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, NodeJS, ReactJS, Angular etc) is a plus
* Experience with NodeJS, Hadoop is a plus.
