Job Description:
The Integrated Marketing team leads the process of developing RFP responses from end to end, ensuring that they're not only delivered on time and on budget for our clients but that they also promote our clients' businesses and lead to long-term partnerships with The Wall Street Journal and Barron's Group.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about print and digital advertising who's excited about writing and creating proposals that make our advertisers want to work with WSJ.
Working with the Sales Reps, the Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director, Integrated Marketing and develop RFP responses and opportunities within the Luxury, Consumer & Real Estate categories.
You will:
* Lead RFP responses and internal brainstorms regarding pre-sales opportunities
* Create and develop proposal decks and marketing materials with a focus on creative storytelling
* Work with multiple teams, including Sales, Media Planning, Research, Ad Product, etc. to ensure ideas are uniquely WSJ and manageable, and meet the goals of our advertisers
* Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches
* Provide support, where necessary, to the wider team
You have:
* 1+ years of relevant experience in a sales marketing function - publisher-side experience a plus
* Basic knowledge of the sales and creative development process, and content marketing and latest digital and social platforms
* Knowledge of basic Research metrics with experience in translating and shaping data into compelling stories aligning with a brand's target market
* Strong organizational, project management, writing, storytelling skills
* Operate within a large organization, working with executives, interdepartmental teams, and external clients
* Have superior proposal writing skills that translate into compelling marketing solutions and client proposals
