You Will:

* Be part of a team designing Dow Joness business and technology solutions.
* Regularly launch products and services based on your work and be a creative and integral part of making these a success.

* Develop new products, customizations, and enhancements working closely with cross-functional staff to deliver against project goals.

* Participate and report status in scrums.

* Produce documentation.

You Have:

5+ years of development experience across the following:

* Oracle ATG Web Commerce, Spring & AWS Services is a must
* Experience with HTML, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, NodeJs is a must

* Relational Database & NoSQL Oracle, S3, DynamoDb, ElastiCache

* Asynchronous programming

* Web scale projects

* Experience with Windows, Mac OS X and Unix/Linux OSs.

* Cloud based application deployment or equivalent

Your Background:

* Experience with web based technologies with a combination of the following: Oracle ATG Web Commerce, BCC Administration, Repositories, Form Handlers, J2EE, REST, JSON, XML, SOAP.
* Strong understanding of software best-practices as it applies to web application, integration service and REST API development

* Object oriented programming ability (such as Java, C++)

* Experience with Agile Development methodologies (SCRUM)

* Understanding of service oriented architecture

* Strong Knowledge on design patterns

* Extensive knowledge in using Eclipse, Visual Studio Code and Git/Github

* Experience with unit test frameworks, dependency injection and application profiling

* A self-starter that is able to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team

* Exposure to functional programming concepts is a plus

Preferred Skills:

* Development knowledge on using AWS S3, Lambda, RDS and DynamoDb services
* Terraform, Serverless framework or another infrastructure-as-code solution
