General Job description:

Change out rolls and cores on laminating unwinder.

Job duties and responsibilities:

* Responsible for personal safety and participating in plant safety process.
* Call for correct fiber, wear layer, and film rolls per production schedule.
* Activate roll transfer from AGV to machine.
* Splice new roll into existing roll per standard operating procedure.
* Perform perfect splices every time.
* Must follow the quality management system policy and procedures.
* Communicate production or quality issues to appropriate team members.
* Maintain a clean and efficient work station.
* Assist with line changeovers.
* Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning in area.
* Operate lift truck, overhead crane, hoist.
* Job rotation and relief of other team members.

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Must have a High School or GED diploma.
* Flexible for all shifts.
* Computer efficient.
* Quality experience desired.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Mechanical aptitude.
* Commitment to company values and safe work practices.
* Excellent attention to detail.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience in the operation of production line, machinery and monitoring products..
