*THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE*

SUMMARY: The position identifies and tracks application inventory and program resources for a selected portfolio. The position is responsible to the Information Technology Portfolio Manager. This role assumes the responsibility for supporting the portfolio manager in their efforts at overseeing, managing and leveraging the entire life cycle of IT investments and initiatives to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Conduct annual application reviews
* Perform regular health checks of application QA checklists.
* Perform assessments for new and existing applications
* Coordinate with technical teams to ensure Disaster Recovery Tests and Database Restore Tests are performed regularly
* Coordinate with access management teams to ensure that user access reviews are completed regularly
* Coordinate with technical teams to ensure that vulnerability scans and penetration tests are performed regularly
* Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure that compliance requirements are being met
* Maintain required application documentation and artifacts.
* Participate in reviews of any initiatives, projects or programs that are challenged and provide recommendations as to whether it should continue, be changed, placed on hold or discontinued.
* Perform other duties as assigned by portfolio management teams

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* 2 or more years of experience in IT and/or the insurance industry.
* Strong communication skills
* Experience in projects for IT operations, and insurance servicing at an insurance agency preferred.
