Job Summary:

Responsibilities include management oversight of inventory, workload scheduling, polices/procedures management, provides inventory staffing assistance, performs title disposition work as required by local states, performs inventory work as necessary and installs quality and safety consciousness among all inventory employees.

Essential Job Duties:

* Oversee overall inventory assignments to ensure quality control and maximum productivity of employees in accordance with inventory and production requirements.
* Plan inventory operations, establishing priorities and sequences for accurately inventorying products.
* Review inventory demand to ascertain proper product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products to ensure that facility inventory is as accurate as possible at all times.
* Review inventory reports in order to determine resolutions for any items in suspense.
* Encourage employee suggestions, develop safety awareness among employees and enforce all applicable safety regulations and Company practices and procedures.
* Perform inventory audits as required by Company practices and procedures.
* Perform monthly inventory of departments supplies.
* Perform inventory work as necessary.
* Assumes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

* 3+ years inventory experience.
* 2+ years warehouse related experience, supplemented by on-the-job training to learn associated duties and the nature of work performed, as well as procedures and work methods in order to become familiar with the company's products, locations, machines and equipment, operating methods and proficiency requirements necessary to fully assume the responsibilities of the job.
* High School diploma or equivalent a plus.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Possess good communication and supervisory skills.
* Must have knowledge of and understand OSHA, "Right to Know" and all other applicable governmental regulatory agency programs, regulations and practices.
* Supervisory background and demonstrated good computer and analytical inclination.
* Must be familiar with the company's products and warehouse methods, techniques and procedures.
* Must be able to work in cooperation with others.
* Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
* Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends. Ability to effectively manage staff.

Machines, Equipment, and Software:

Forklift, order selector, pallet jack, pull cart, ladder, telephone, Microsoft Office Software and LKQ software (Project X and Inventory Master).

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
* This position requires individuals to be able to work warehouse inventory including lifting equipment, bumpers, etc.
* Must be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds.
* Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not possess fear of heights.
* Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels.
* Should possess special skills in the operation of a forklift in negotiating the lift in close quarters.

•  On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
•  S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
