The Systems Analyst I is the mid-tier position in the Systems Analyst family. The Systems Analyst job family forms part of the Application Development and Field Support

tracks within the IT function. Systems Analysts are responsible for participating in applications development, maintenance, and enhancement IT projects, and they also

provide specialized technical knowledge. They contribute to the achievement of business objectives by identifying opportunities for effective use of technology and

developing, implementing and supporting IT solutions on time and on budget.

Essential Job Duties:

* Syteline/Cloud Suite programming/analyst experience with version 8.03, 9.X, and/or 10. The ideal candidate will have recent working experience
* with Syteline in a multiple site configuration.
* Provide in-depth technical expertise for IT applications within the business functions.
* Conceptually convert business requirements into IT solutions.
* Day to day support of IT applications within assigned business function.
* Develop technical design for IT applications of the assigned business function.
* Develop, test and implement IT systems on time and within budget.
* Assist IT team members to resolving technical and data issues.
* If required, provide guidance or knowledge to other team members.
* Assumes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

* A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. Or,
* 5 10 years of hands on experience with architecture, development and support of web applications.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* An understanding of basic concepts, terminology and practical application of current and emerging technologies.
* Strong analytical abilities and technical skills to evaluate alternative approaches and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions.
* Proficiency in architectures, analytical and design techniques, database technologies, and programming languages.
* Maintenance experience for the following Syteline/Cloud Suite modules is desirable:
* Base Syteline modules (Manufacturing, Order Entry, Accounting, Purchasing, etc.)
* Factory Track
* Doc Track
* QC
* APS
* Credit Card Interface is desirable
* Extensive analytical abilities and technical skills to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, analyze all ramifications and implement complete solutions
* Ability to lead and effectively participate in teams.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in audience appropriate terms.
* Ability to work without close supervision.
* Deep expertise and hands on merging customizations with new Mongoose for definitions.
* Strong grasp of information security principles and applications to web programming to prevent data loss and vulnerabilities.
* Demonstrated knowledge of application development using SQL Server 2008/2012 database toolset including SSIS and SSRS.
* Knowledge of report development using SSRS toolkit.

•  2011 acquisition of Euro Car Parts Holdings Limited ("ECP"), a vehicle mechanical aftermarket parts distribution company operating in the United Kingdom. This acquisition allowed us to expand our operations into the European automotive aftermarket business.

•  2013 acquisition of Sator Beheer B.V. ("Sator"), a vehicle mechanical aftermarket parts distribution company based in the Netherlands, with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Northern France. This acquisition allowed us to further expand our geographic presence into continental Europe.

•  2014 acquisition of Keystone Specialty, which expanded our product offering and increased our addressable market to include specialty vehicle aftermarket equipment and accessories.

•  On December 22, 2015, LKQ announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the holding company of Rhiag-Inter Auto Parts Italia
•  S.p.A (“Rhiag”), a leading pan-European business-to-business distributor of aftermarket spare parts for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Rhiag has operations in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland and Spain. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2016 and is subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
