Position Summary
Work with the Creative Director to develop creative strategy and execution of all customer communication across multiple platforms with a focus on Branding, Print, Digital, and/or Broadcast. Work closely with the Marketing team and business partners to translate business strategies, vision and marketing plans into compelling creative solutions that connect deeply with customers. Responsible for design standards and guidelines for all customer communication, as well as managing and developing design staff across remote locations to ensure consistent execution of creative solutions. Essential Job Functions

* Lead overall creative planning for assigned initiatives as well as collaborate with Creative Directors and Head of Creative on overall creative strategy
* Collaborate with senior marketing on developing the overall enterprise customer communications and marketing plan
* Incorporate company brand standards into all work and inspire team to do the same
* Develop effective creative across multiple channels, including but not limited to print, broadcast, digital and other emerging media
* Provide photographic or video art direction for all categories of merchandise; including tabletop setups, lay downs, backdrops, environmental scenes and live talent
* Understand, stay in on trend and apply emerging creative trends and best practices as appropriate
* Create and manage annual creative budgets ensuring all activities are executed on time and on budget
* Present comprehensive creative concepts to senior management and business unit leaders
* Manage workload to facilitate efficient resource utilization and supervise freelance work
* Collaborate closely with Copy Chief and Copywriters to ensure consistency across visuals and copy
* Attend business partner meetings, as needed, to understand changes in strategic direction, new business, etc
* Perform special corporate art direction and design projects
* Collaborate with senior production team on work flow
* Communicate regularly with department leadership, ensuring strategy and projects are on track, gaining support and guidance
* Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

Minimum Position Qualifications

* 6+ years in a creative leadership position
* Any experience managing designers
* Excellent oral/written communication skills
* Proven ability to conceptualize and design graphic applications to their completion
* Proficient with industry-standard design tools and software preferably Adobe Creative Suite
* Strong organizational skills with specific attention to detail
* Proven expertise with marketing and branding best practices, retail experience a plu
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks/projects
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop others
* Ability to make persuasive argument and influence design decisions to internal and external partners
* Ability and willingness to continue education, as necessary
* Expertise in design, graphics, aesthetics and technical aspects of focus area, Brand, Print, Digital, Broadcast, Emerging Media

Desired Previous Experience/Education

* Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts, Advertising Design or related field
