Position Summary:
Ensure maintainability/ reliability of automation systems, non-automated equipment, buildings/facilities to achieve a high level of asset preservation at reduced operating cost. Provide technical/professional leadership to the Engineering/Maintenance function and advice to Operations inclusive of directing, scheduling/controlling all related activities to achieve the Integrated Operations/Business Plan. Essential Job Functions:
* Drive the Integrated Maintenance process with help of leadership. This includes the establishment, refinement and administration of an effective predictive/preventative maintenance (PPM) program, work order procedures, balanced parts inventory, employee training programs, manpower scheduling techniques, and establishing efficiency improvement programs.
* Review/use and refinement of the latest PPM program and establish economic logic regarding equipment to be PM'd/determine the cost of the PPM tasks. Establish work measurement techniques/determine the effectiveness & needed improvements of the maintenance department
* Develop/implement/control Department budgets
* Develop/execute projects/programs at the lowest cost in the shortest time period consistent with Logistics operational demands. Recommend equipment modifications to improve plant safety/quality throughout performance
* Lead the identification, selection, skills assessment, training, performance evaluation/development process for maintenance/engineering personnel
* Manage the emergency response to automation downtime periods
* Manage/perform engineering analysis to determine the root cause of the most critical/repetitive failures
* Administer the PM/PPM program/Parts Room inventory for equipment/buildings through the Maintenance Management System. Manage the planning/scheduling of maintenance work. Facilitate coordination with other departments for equipment availability/optimization of resources
* Evaluate maintenance program/project activity versus the schedule and anticipate problems that could impact the schedule and resolve
* Lead the development/implementation of the Minor Capital Plan inclusive of due diligence for feasibility, appropriation requests, releasing purchase orders, exercising effective project management and achieving the deliverables.
* Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
* 5 years of maintenance management experience
* Experience in a leadership role in maintenance
* Experience in small project management including financial impact
* Working knowledge of Maintenance Management Software
* Experience in Microsoft Office software
* Possess excellent organization, supervisory/leadership skills
* Communicate effectively with Operations Management

* Bachelor of Engineering Degree
* Maintenance Manager at Major Facility
* Proactive Maintenance Management experience
