What this job involves

As part of the Tour Program team, this individual will engage visitors to dynamically communicate tour content in a positive, fun, inclusive, and educational capacity. The Bayer Innovation Experience/Agricultural Tour in Chesterfield is a critical outreach tool. It provides the opportunity to engagingly share our research and technology story in alignment with the Crop Science Narrative so that diverse groups including farmer customers, industry colleagues, government officials, investors, consumers, students and other stakeholders can understand Bayers vision, research, innovation, technology, collaboration, products, and pipeline.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for communicating approved tour content and guiding activities grounded in agronomics, science, technology, and company history.
* Facilitate an engaging tour experience with questions, activities, and educational content related to Bayers innovation, technology, research, pipeline, and products
* Participate in team meetings
* Complete training and ongoing developmental sessions
* Track and record visitors frequently asked questions
* Ensure visitor compliance to U.S. Corporate Tour Policy
* Partner with guest engagement team to enhance visitor experiences
* Perform core operational functions including opening & closing procedures

Qualifications:

* A Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Communications, Science and/or Education is required; Masters or other continued education preferred
* Bi- or multi- lingual a plus
* Experience with tours, presentations, teaching, and/or performing
* A background in agriculture is helpful
* A history with the company is preferred
* Ability to learn and communicate company culture, vision, technology, history, and product line
* Ability to effectively communicate content in a variety of group and stakeholder settings in an engaging, compelling, and energetic manner
* Positive attitude required: must be friendly, engaging, and enthusiastic with a strong love for working with people in an agile, collaborative atmosphere
* An understanding and commitment to Sustainable Agriculture
* Ability to be mobile for long periods of time
