Your Role and Responsibilities
As an IBM Senior Cloud practitioner, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will help define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of Azure Cloud and other technologies. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders. You will work with various projects and clients, working towards client specifications. Your role will involve:

* Development for specific systems on a range of platforms including Linux, Microsoft and various web and/or mobile environments (iOS, Android, Hybrid)
* Working within the entire development life-cycle including design, build, and coding
* Using object-oriented programming languages and tools to deliver a range of solutions
* Participates in the analysis of system and business requirements to provide hands-on solutions to meet or exceed our customers expectations.
* Communicates with the Product Management and development teams to raise issues and identify potential barriers in a timely fashion.
* Strong track record of establishing or using best practices in software and development.

The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our BATON ROUGE center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel up to 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position. You must live in LOUISIANA. The work location is 100 North Street Baton Rouge, LA 70802. This is not a work from home position.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

* At least 5 years professional experience
* At least 3 years of experience with Cloud migration or modernization projects
* At least 2 years of experience with Azure Cloud
* 2 years Experience with Dev Ops
* 1 year Experience with Angular
* Experience with Cloud migration to one of the following Clouds: Azure, AWS, Red Hat, Google Cloud platform, or IBM Cloud
* Must be detail oriented and have critical thinking skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

* Azure certifications AZ 301 or AZ 203
* Agile SAFE5 certification
* Development experience in any of the following technologies and opinions on how to use them correctly: .NET
* Experience with Containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
* Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery
* Experience with APIs
* Multiple Cloud technologies (i.e. Azure, AWS, Red Hat, etc)
* Experience with breaking down application monoliths to microservices
* 2 years experience of working with solutions that have multiple points of integration (with various servers, applications, platforms, etc.)
