Your Role and Responsibilities
The Technical Writer on the Qiskit Community Team will research, plan, and write for the Qiskit team and for the Marketing teams. This includes, but is not limited to writing promotional and educational quantum computing content, ghost writing for scientists, and innovating global multimedia feature content. The technical writer should have a vision for the overal digital content strategy as he/she will not only write long form blogs, newsletters, and press release, but also site copy, video scripts, compose tweets and other digital copy.

Position success will be measured by criteria such as business and market success, timely delivery, quality, and personal social eminence..

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
3+ years of technical writing experience
Excellent writing skills: clarity, accuracy, and efficiency
Can edit existing writing or create from scratch through collaboration with stakeholders.
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
Ability to learn complex, technical products
Experience with user-focused writing
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at a time
Bachelors degree or equivalent in experience, or advanced degree preferred
Knowledge about the Quantum Computing space and current literature
