Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer in the Network Engineering UI squad you will be creating solutions driven by our client consumers of all IBM network related data. You will be designing, coding, automating, and testing applications for mission critical network applications within the organizations strategic portal framework. This portal is responsible for OLTP transactions for Network Engineering applications, Reporting and Troubleshooting functions, as well as Visualization of analytical data from Data Lake repositories.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

* 5+ years experience front end web development
* 5+ years experience in Angular, HTML 5, CSS
* 3+ years experience in UI Design Methods and Thinking
* Proven practical experience creating and using pipeline driven automated tests with Cypress or other End to End testing frameworks
* Proven practical experience in Test Driven development
* Practical experience using agile methods and processes
* Practical experience using CI/CD using automated tools and software repositories
* Practical experience with Typescript
* Practical experience in using APIs
* Practical experience with Relational Databases

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science
* Knowledge of Web Frameworks
* Knowledge of Software Defined Networking
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
* Experience with InVision or other prototyping design feedback tools
* Experience with Linux OS, shell and script programming
* Experience as a Business Analyst
* Experience with Photoshop or other graphical design tools
