Your Role and Responsibilities
As an IBM Security Software Developer (Java Network) you will be responsible for the following:
You will use the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software. You will be responsible for ensuring that company software components are expertly designed, tested, debugged, verified and ready for integration into IBMs best-of-breed solutions that help organizations improve their business outcomes in the global marketplace.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You will succeed in this role if you have 3 years of professional and technical experience in the following:
* Java
* Netty
* Linux
* RESTful APIs
* Object Oriented Design
* Troubleshooting skills
* TCP UDP programming
* Experience in full cycle from design, development, automated testing, supporting customer issues
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Scripting Languages (Lua, Powershell, Python)
* Cryptography / SSL
* Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Jenkins (CI/CD)
* C/C++/C (some combination)
* Windows OS
* Experience in modern and Agile Development practices
