Hersheys Chocolate World Admissions Attendant works within the Attractions Department and is highly engaged with our guests for entry into our facility. This is a customer-service focused position that ensures a welcoming but safe visit to our building. The Admissions Attendant will greet our guests upon arrival in a friendly and outgoing manner and will facilitate each step of the entry process. This includes but is not limited to interacting with guests inside and outside of the facility, checking entry tickets, controlling guest flow, conflict resolution, conducting temperature screenings, and ensuring the safety of all guests and employees.

This is a part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance or other employment benefits for this position. This position requires daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday availability. This position has a starting hourly rate of $12.00 or more based on relevant experience.

Hersheys Chocolate World requires a focus on exceptional customer service and expects employees to be approachable, courteous, knowledgeable about our products, able to clearly communicate with guests and assist them with questions, as well as provide general information to guests with a high level of professionalism.

Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities:

* Must demonstrate our Customer Service Pledge
* Must be approachable, showing that our guests are our priority
* Must initiate interactions with our guests by being courteous and greeting them with a smile
* Must be willing to listen to our guests and provide for their needs
* Must provide a genuine Thank You to every guest
* Greet, welcome, and extend service to customers meeting or exceeding service standards
* Must be willing to take temperatures of our guests and enforce safety protocols
* Must have general knowledge of our building and attractions
* Perform other duties within the Attractions Department as needed

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

* Must be at least 17 years of age
* Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly with guests
* This position requires bending, stooping, and twisting
* Must be able to push, pull, or lift 25 lbs.
* Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours per shift
* Must be willing to work outside in all climate conditions
* Must maintain a neat appearance and adhere to the uniform standards
* Must have customer service skills, especially strong conflict resolution skills
* Must be comfortable speaking to large groups of people
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Must have leadership skills and the ability to take initiative
* Must be able to work with technology and have a basic understanding of technology

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

* Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
* Experience: 1 year of customer service experience is required
