Mission Control is the organization responsible for end-to-end workforce planning, technical onboarding, and headcount allocations for all technical departments at Facebook. We work with stakeholders and partners across the company to accomplish our mission of planning and shaping Facebooks technical workforce. We drive workforce strategy, anticipate and solve talent supply-demand challenges, and execute scalable programs. On Mission Control (MC) you will see a direct link between your work and the impact on company growth. We are looking for an individual with strong experience driving a tooling strategy and delivering solutions to support our mission. The individual must have strong abilities to communicate, collaborate and influence across all levels of an organization. A proven track record in solving complex problems and handling ambiguity is a must. This is a full-time position reporting the manager of Mission Control Tooling.

Tooling Program Manager, Mission Control Responsibilities

* Help drive internal product decisions and roadmap to align with our tooling strategy.

* Lead conversations with business owners and product teams to drive decisions on solutions to solve business problems.

* Manage intake and prioritization of tooling requests.

* Define program objectives and milestones to ensure on-time delivery of multiple projects under the program.

* Provide hands-on project management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.

* Perform risk management and execute change management for tooling project implementation.

* Provide day-to-day consulting on tooling and processes that support our program operations.

* Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines and share status updates.

Minimum Qualifications

* B.S./M.S. in a technical discipline such as Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Applications & Systems Development or equivalent experience

* 5+ years combined experience in technical program/product management, systems integration, or software development

* Communication skills with experience leading and collaborating in cross functional teams

* Experience with tooling development and partnering with business intelligence teams to build data infrastructure foundation

* Organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment
