Technical Program Manager, Product Quality

Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager for Product Quality, you will enable great end-to-end experiences for the more than 2.7 billion people and businesses that use our products. You'll do this by collaborating with engineers, product designers, and other stakeholders across the company to improve and build our next generation testing platform. Our current testing platform enables the management, execution and actionable insights of manual software testing. This role will be critical in improving the existing testing platform while establishing a plan to evolve the platform to meet the broader product quality goals of the company. The ideal candidate is passionate about testing and product quality and has significant experience in software development.

Technical Program Manager, Product Quality Responsibilities

* Build and drive company-wide adoption of our testing platform and infrastructure which ensure great end-to-end experiences for people and businesses.

* Define and execute on Product Qualitys roadmap by driving collaboration with engineers, designers and other product stakeholders across the company while ensuring on-time delivery.

* Ensure that product teams, QA testers, QA leads and vendor requirements are understood and supported from a technical and business perspective.

* Represent and communicate Product Qualitys platform progress and strategy to leadership, cross-functional partners and across the organization.

* Identify and break down complex business problems into solvable pieces that can be shipped iteratively.

* Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.

* Manage cross-functional product development programs in a matrix organization covering a range of teams, products and tools.

* Communicate project status to stakeholders and various key teams around the organization.

* Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

Minimum Qualifications

* B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

* 4+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.

* 2+ years of experience building/iterating on software testing systems, platforms or infrastructure.

* In-depth knowledge of software testing automation and manual processes.

* Experience influencing effectively, advocating, and aligning product quality needs to company level priorities.

* Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.

* Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience.

* Analytical and problem-solving experience with systems.

* Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.

* Experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
