Technical Program Manager, Ads Privacy and Responsibility

Job Description

Facebook is seeking a Technical Program Manager for our Ads Privacy Foundation team. We are focused on initiatives centered on user data privacy. This is a constantly evolving space, and as a TPM on this team you are flexible and be able to pivot on mission critical problems. In this role, you will bring strong technical knowledge and influence to drive and deliver cross-team projects and roadmaps. From designing and building new infrastructure, to working with teams to make existing systems better, to building new privacy-related product features, you will be one of our core TPMs working to keep our users privacy at the forefront of everything we do.

Technical Program Manager, Ads Privacy and Responsibility Responsibilities

* Develop overall strategy, product roadmap and tactical business decisions for privacy initiatives across Ads.

* Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the program.

* Establish shared goals with product teams across the company to drive more value for both people and businesses.

* Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.

* Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks.

* Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.

* Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

* Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Design, Privacy and Data Science teams for product requirements, scope and implementation.

* Proactively identify and manage risks.

Minimum Qualifications

* B.S. in Computer Science or 5+ years of Software Application development experience.

* 5+ years of experience in online advertising or in a trust or risk-related product in technical product or technical program management role.

* 5+ years of experience working across functions (Engineering, Product Management, Legal) in order to deliver a product or feature.

* 5+ years of experience unifying cross-functional groups for product delivery in a technical company.

* 5+ years of problem-solving experience with highly technical systems.

* 5+ years of experience understanding product requirements and translating those product needs into plans and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with products or programs that cross legal, policy, trust and fraud.

* Experience communicating highly technical concepts to non-technical audience.

* Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines.

* PMP Certification (PMI).
