Facebook Reality Labs is seeking a Technical Program Management Leader to help us unleash human potential by eliminating the bottlenecks between intent and action. To achieve this, were building a practical neural interface drawing on the rich motor neuron signals that can be measured non-invasively with neuron-level resolution. Our research lies at the intersection of computational neuroscience, machine learning, signal processing, statistics, biophysics, motor learning, perceptual psychophysics, and human-computer interaction. You will lead a team that is highly cross functional across science, hardware and software teams. And you will be pivotal in leading these technology work streams towards applying state-of-art science into experiences that capture the imagination of our users!
Manager, Technical Program Management, CTRL Labs Responsibilities
* Lead a cross functional team through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products
* Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of technical program managers and product leaders
* Coordinate and lead the cross-group/cross-site execution or our engineering team
* Drive product development with a team of world-class scientists, engineers and designers through developing end-to-end program plans and influence teams to deliver against plans
* Establish internal processes across teams and functions while maximizing for efficiency and optionality for creative solutions
Minimum Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management
* 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
* 6+ years of management experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership
* Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
* Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
* BA/BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a consumer focused technology company
* Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplace
