The Digital Media Specialist will report to the Sr. Analyst of Media Operations and will be responsible for working to maximize our impact in the digital space and create engagement levels and awareness. You will be tasked with helping us improve our online outcomes through ad trafficking, campaign setup, budget monitoring and reporting for marketing campaigns. This role will cross multiple channels including digital, video, radio, display media, SEO, affiliate marketing and social media. You will have the opportunity to be a part of an innovative, fast growing business with a focus on digital media.

Digital Media Planning and Execution:

* Coordinate project planning with the internal creative team and manage feedback regarding image and video revisions
* Implement and monitor ad campaigns across various platforms including Google, Facebook, Pinterest, Adobe, etc.
* Triage and resolve all ad campaign issues quickly and accurately while also updating processes
* QA campaign setup across multiple channels
* Suggest audiences to target, develop audience lists and upload to various platforms
* Analyzing campaign performance and providing optimization recommendations

Operations:

* Budget management including assistance in allocation of monthly budgets, issuance/revisions of monthly insertion orders, oversight of clients billing and financial reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis and resolution of media invoice and ad service fee discrepancies
* Performs daily reviews and optimizations
* Track and predict ad impression inventory to maximize ad delivery and improve campaign pacing
* Track the status of multiple ad campaigns, propose optimizations, and provide detailed reporting to key stakeholders
* Daily optimization and management of campaigns within individual DSPs and Platforms

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing
* 1-3 years experience in Display, Online Video, Digital Radio, Social Media
* Professional Licenses and/or Specialized Training in Google Suite of Marketing Products, Adobe Analytics, Social Media Platforms
* Technology requirements in Google Products: DV360, SA360, Social Platforms: Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram,and SEO Techniques
* Some evening or weekend work may be required

The Story begins ...

DICK’S Sporting Goods was founded in 1948 when an 18 year-old Dick Stack was working at an Army surplus store in Binghamton, New York. An avid fisherman, Dick was approached by the store owner to come up with a list of products needed to get into the fishing tackle business. After Dick presented his suggestions, the owner told him he was a dumb kid and had no idea what he was doing. Dick was upset and promptly quit. He went to his grandmother’s house where he spent a lot of time as a kid and told her what had happened.

Dick’s grandmother asked how much it would cost to build the store himself. Dick said it would cost $300. His grandmother then went to the cookie jar where she kept her life savings and gave him $300 and told him “do it yourself.” Dick used that money and his relentless work-ethic to open a bait-and-tackle shop in Binghamton. By the late 1970's, he expanded his product line to include much of what you’ll find at DICK’S Sporting Goods today.

Ed Stack is the current CEO and Chairman of DICK’S Sporting Goods. He and his siblings are responsible for taking two stores and growing the chain.
