Job Description

* The ACMS application is a WEB based business management tool designed and developed by Pall. The application is used globally by our sales and engineering team to support the Pall Biotech business unit. The Technical Administrator will operate as frontline support for users of the system.

* We are currently seeking a Database Administrator to support our growing business.

* Do you have good attention to detail and strong knowledge of computer systems/databases? If so, this would be a superb opportunity for you.

* We are recruiting for a permanent Database Administrator to work within the Life Sciences team in Duncan, South Carolina, USA. You will be joining a small friendly team to assist with setting up new accounts, providing database support, raising activities and liaising with external suppliers for updates.

Role and Duties:

* To support the day to day administration activities of the ACMS database application including;

* Ensuring users are fully supported

* Ensuring high standards of data accuracy are maintained.

* - Supporting the Master Data Manager

* - Ensuring the data is consistent and accurate

* - Support usability testing

* - Providing 1st line support for users

* - Account management

* - Delivering new user training

* - Bug and feature reporting/management

* - Data analysis

Basic Qualifications/ Experience:

* - Maths, English and ICT

* - Post School ICT qualification or proof of in depth use of databases

* - Minimum of 5 years experience supporting database applications or in a QA/RA/QC role

* - Excellent written and verbal English interpersonal skills

* - Excellent customer service skills

* - Eye for details and accuracy

* - Research and data analysis skills

* - Experience in writing user operating procedures
