We are currently searching for a Seed Hire, Supply Chain to support our Life Sciences Supply Chain strategy.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting key supply chain activities, including customer serving performance measures, internal performance measures, standard work deployment and talent development.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop lean systems of work within regional/global supply chain
* Support supply from regional 3rd party locations
* Mentoring of site materials managers
* Partner with finished goods network and sites
* Drive standard work and improve supplier management
* Partner with regional DCs, goods receiving and outbound logistics function, driving cost to serve whilst maintaining service levels
* Create initiatives to achieve corporate DIO & Stock turn targets
* Implement processes to predict and prevent obsolescence
* Increase inventory turn defining processes to smooth demand, manage spikes, work with commercial teams to improve systemic alignment
* Own SAP sales backlog ensuring customer orders are met in the timescales agreed
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Biochemical engineering, Process engineering, Chemical engineering or equivalent. Master's degree, preferred
* In-depth knowledge of global supply chain process and linkage
* Understanding of global network design
* Understanding inventory optimization to drive customer satisfaction whilst maintaining cost
* Experience in a Supply Chain / Production Control / Purchasing role
* Good knowledge of Manufacturing ERP systems ideally including SAP
* Strong Collaboration skills / Good negotiation skills
* Strong Leadership and Management skills
* Purchasing and Commercial Awareness
* Skilled in the areas of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
* Strong IT skills
* Ability to travel around 30% per year
