General Summary

The Manager, Pricing leads a team of sales and contract analysts that enables the field sales and the management team to make informed decisions in support of the organizations commercial objectives. The team analyzes proposals, builds financial projections, and prepares quotes and contracts. The manager also owns price controls and contract lifecycle management.



Key Responsibilities

* Leads the operation of the Bids & Quotes Group, including the streamlining of the quotation process and development of individual skills and capabilities.
* Ensures timely preparation of professional and effective pricing proposals.
* Collaborates with Business Leaders, Corporate Accounts, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Product Managers and Executive Management in developing pricing positioning strategies for Key Accounts, Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts and new and existing products and services.
* Builds and effectively communicates financial projections and the impact of contract terms and conditions (T&Cs) to partners across functions and at all levels of management.
* Maintenance and continuous improvement of the Financial Workbook as well as the development and achievement of the pricing initiatives identified in the Danaher Business System (DBS) Pricing Tool.
* Support critical initiatives by managing contracts with current GPOs, preparing GPO admin fees and supporting documentation, and ensuring commercial contracts achieve the companys revenue and gross profit targets.
* Review commercial contract T&Cs and ensure that contract review standard work is followed across the organization.
* Understand and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures.



Requirements for the Position

* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
* Three to five years of finance, business, and analysis experience including use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
* Minimum three years prior supervisory experience.
* Proficient MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) with advanced Excel skills in order to build and review complex financial models.
* <10% Travel



Key Relationships

* Ability to timely and accurately communicate upper management and internal departments including Sales, Field Service, Customer Service, Bids and Quotes, Legal, HR, IT, and Division Headquarters.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers and sales in discussing pricing and contract terms.
