The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Role Purpose: Responsible for the planning and implementation of Supply Chain solutions for Corning Life Sciences division, acting as a liaison between business leaders and the Corporate Information Technology leadership. Build and maintain strategic business relationships between IT Service Lines and business partners by understanding, anticipating, shaping, and bringing together demand for IT services. Key partner in developing the IT Supply Chain vision, strategy and roadmap for the Corning Life Sciences division to ensure long-term IT strategy is in alignment with business objectives. Drive future digitization to help transform the business for the future. Play a key leadership role in the division SAP rollout and will guide the program teams to meet their deliverables and ensure the delivered solution meets business requirements.
Description of Work:
* Serve as a primary relationship manager and trusted liaison between IT and business partners in the Supply Chain function
* Work closely with IT manufacturing and commercial peers to develop the division technology strategy, influence budgeting and shape the technology of the future for Corning Life Sciences.
* Own the technology roadmap for SC services across a complex, integrated eco-system of ERP, WMS, SAP IBP, and other related SC capabilities.
* Work closely with business Center of Excellence (COE) teams, help design business processes that cut across a complex eco-system of applications including Warehouse Management Systems, SAP IBP Planning suite, Manufacturing, Corporate Finance and treasury.
* Actively engage in assessing supply chain capability in division, drive process and technology standardization globally.
* Own the SC IT services in the business division in partnership with global IT organization. Ensure services meet their operational targets in availability and performance.
* As a core member for division SAP roll out, work with enterprise IT organization, SAP implementation partners and division deployment teams to drive successful program delivery and business fit to SAP standard processes.
* Leverage and advocate the adoption of technology to solve complex business problems.
* Keep abreast with market and technology trends by participating in trade shows, vendor relationship and other resources.
* Contribute to division IT financial management, annual budgeting processes.
* Clearly communicate progress across business and IT teams

Required Education and experience:
* Minimum of 10 years of overall experience in a services or manufacturing organization, with large-scale, global SAP deployment experience.
* Minimum of 5 years in a business facing role withing an IT organization
* Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering or related fields.
Required skills:
* Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 (emphasis on SD and WM), SAP IBP/APO and other SAP adjacent capabilities with experience implementing at a global manufacturing company.
* Proven experience working in a complex business applications eco-system that includes systems internal and external to organization. Some examples include Planning, WMS, Pricing, eCatalog, Advanced analytics, Manufacturing, quality systems etc.
* Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict management, coordination, and planning skills
* Strong problem-solving skills thinking beyond constraints and working with diverse cross functional teams.
* Experience communicating at different levels of the organization, targeting technical and/or business audience seamlessly
* Simultaneously manage a portfolio of multiple deliverables across a diverse, complex enterprise landscape

Desired skills:
* Similar experience in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry
* Experience managing or deploying validated systems in compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and other global standards
