Job Description
CDM Smith is looking for an Information Management Software Developer to join our team!

In this role, you will help:

Develop low to moderately complex application code that meets defined requirements.

Make minor changes to database tables, fields, etc., with the design decisions being developed by others.

Build non-complex deployment packages, uses issue tracking software, uses source code control, and performs other supporting activities related to application development projects.

Develop pricing for and/or orders hardware and software specifications developed by others.

Test hardware and/or software, using pre-specified testing algorithms developed by others.

Perform limited end user interviews to determine application requirements.

Document end user business processes or develops use cases related to application.

You will also contribute to the development of functional specifications for applications, under the direction of others, while developing documentation for applications, and/or trains the firms staff or clients to use simple applications.



Minimum Qualifications


Skills and Abilities
Good problem solving and research skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to use core computer science topics of Object and/or Function Oriented Design; advanced data structures and algorithms; rela


Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 0 years.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.


Preferred Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen, able to complete a DoD background.
