Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) Selection team is looking for a visionary Principal level Technical Product Manager to shape how Amazon enables its customers to find the items they need, when they need it, at competitive prices. As a Technical Principal Product Manager of the Sub Same Day Program, you will lead a highly cross-functional initiative to offer relevant selection to customers worldwide at the fastest speeds. You will work with a diverse group of people spanning a broad range of functions including Software, Science, Operations, Finance and Analytics to build cutting edge solutions to understand what products customers value most, and develop highly scalable supply chain systems and processes to drive execution. This is a high impact, high visibility role with regular engagement with senior leaders across organizations. You will own the end to end product vision and strategy, roadmap, goals tracking and overall execution, working across teams to drive new solutions. You will evangelize new features to stakeholder teams, drive adoption, put in place metrics to track success, and communicate results to a broad range of stakeholders across levels.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience working in high ambiguity, high complexity settings, working with both tech and non tech teams to drive results. The candidate must be a strong problem solver and comfortable with operating both at a big picture strategic level, as well as getting deep into details and system mechanics. Given this is a high visibility role with regular engagement with senior leaders, strong communication skills, both verbal and written is a must. A successful candidate will be customer obsessed, highly analytical, be capable of synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities, and be able to drive influence across teams to drive end to end supply chain execution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of technical product management experience (or equivalent)
2+ years of experience with end to end product delivery
Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition
Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience leading discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's Degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver software products
Strong collaboration skills. You quickly earn the trust of people you work with. People enjoy and have fun working with you.
Experience effectively influencing senior leaders (VP, SVP, C-level)
Familiarity with one or more science disciplines (operations research, machine learning, econometrics, statistics, or related fields)
Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
Exhibits excellent judgment, especially making high quality/high impact decisions in the absence of data when needed and figuring out how to gather data to evaluates these decisions.
