Orthopedic Radiologic Technologist - AdventHealth Orlando

You Will Be Responsible For:

* Knowledge of ER, OR and Fluoroscopic, and Intraoperative CT imaging procedures/protocols
* Knowledge of Diagnostic and Intraoperative Radiological Procedures and Protocols, Pt./Procedure Specific Positions
* Ability to determine appropriate technical factors for high quality imaging
* Knowledge of Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, and O-arm CT equipment
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Knowledge of ER, OR and Fluoroscopic, and Intraoperative CT imaging procedures/protocols
* Knowledge of Diagnostic and Intraoperative Radiological Procedures and Protocols, Pt./Procedure Specific Positions
* Ability to determine appropriate technical factors for high quality imaging
* Knowledge of Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, and O-arm CT equipment
* Ability to communicate effectively, coordinate staff and work with people of various and diverse backgrounds
* Ability to multi-task under stress while dealing with large customer volumes
* Good organizational and problem-solving skills
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
* Completion of SAIII competency, providing support at sterile field during Orthopedic specific OR procedures
* Strong anatomical knowledge, and ability to case plan complex orthopedic trauma and elective procedures with physicians and OR staff.
* Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment
* Working knowledge of the AdventHealth EMR system
* Knowledge of AdventHealths Image QA standards and policy
* Strong technical troubleshooting skills
* E-mail and word processing skills such as Outlook and Microsoft programs, Word and Excel
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Two years experience in hospital setting as a Registered Technologist
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
* Regular attendance at physician led Orthopedic Specialty Training
* Cadaver Lab experience and competency
* Intraoperative competency of CT imaging
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
* Florida Department of Health General Radiographer
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( R )
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
