Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time, Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

* Coordinates and directs patient care to ensure patients needs are met and hospital policy is followed.
* Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations management of the med/surg and ER units.
* Participates with the interview process of new employees
* Communicates patient information to all member of the Case Management team.
* Nursing documentation.
* Medication administration.
* Infection control
* Recognizes patient care variances.
* Conducts staff development.
* Act as Case Management in his/her absence.
* Ensures patient satisfaction as evidenced by HCHAPS scores in response to patient questionnaires. Conducts daily leadership rounding in conjunction with the Director of Nursing
* Provide assistance throughout the department and facility with the resolution of unmet expectations and/or problems with staffing needs
* Actively participates in staff meetings on a monthly basis, coordinates staff in-services assists with education

Qualifications
What You Will Need:

* Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree Nurse
* 3+ Years of Experience Required
* Wisconsin Registered Nurse License
* BLS obtained through the American Heart Association
* ACLS obtained through the American Heart Association
* BLS Instructor Preferred
* TNCC Preferred

Job Summary:

The Clinical Coordinator will be dedicated to superior customer service and satisfaction. The CC will develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers while conveying a positive image. The CC will share their knowledge and expertise with others to ensure the success of team and individual efforts. The CC will exhibit a problem solving attitude, constantly seek ways to improve processes increase efficiency, find solutions to current situations or develop new methods and procedures, The CC will project pride in their work as exhibited in day to day interactions with staff, co-workers, patients and all those they come in contact with, while Modeling the SHARE principles.

The role of the Clinical Coordinator is to provide clinical expertise and leadership to nursing staff. The CC will model collegial and collaborative behavior between nursing, physicians, and other healthcare providers. The CC will contribute to staff annual evaluations and participate in and provide employee disciplines/warnings under the guidance and directions of the Director of Nursing.
