WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this temporary role you will assist the Global Marketing Senior Manager and other members of the Health Care Practice Area Marketing Team in a variety of marketing-related topics, such as social media, communications development, management of the contacts database, reporting and business intelligence, event marketing, project management, progress tracking against marketing priorities, administrative support, and others. The role provides the chance to gain foundational experience in global/international and analytics for a leading global management consultancy.
Key responsibilities, in order of share of your time:
* Storytelling through Data: Prepare compelling reports and dashboards with key performance metrics to show the impact of marketing tactics such as events, media coverage, publication readership, digital marketing. Develop presentations that will be shared with Practice Area leadership. Exercise your strong ability to curate the right data points to answer questions that help guide the marketing strategy. You can showcase data in a clear, concise way that tells a story to the viewer.
* Social Media Content: Draft LinkedIn posts that BCGs consulting teams can use to share our latest thought leadership with their networks. Share publications and media placements on LinkedIn Elevate. Advise Managing Directors and Partners on profile optimization and social media best practices. Explore other social media platforms, like Twitter and Instagram
* Internal Communications: Write content and build digital newsletters in SalesForce Marketing Cloud to update the PA on our latest marketing activities that can be leveraged for business development. Track open and click rates for these communications.
* Event Planning: Liaise directly with HC Marketing Team, Managing Directors and Partners and event planning teams on virtual client invitation processes. Support the development of event collateral including attendance lists, agendas, client gifts, etc. Track event details in enterprise events database with MS Dynamics.
* CRM: Proactively communicate with the Dynamics Team and client teams to ensure data clean-up progress continues against target timelines. Liaise with the Dynamics Team progress for ongoing data quality efforts within marketing platforms
* Content Project Management: Shepherd thought leadership author teams through the BCG publication process, in conjunction with the global editorial operations team.
* Administrative Support: Support the marketing team with day-to-day tasks including meeting scheduling; Trello, Slack, and Egnyte updates; and preparation for meetings with stakeholders.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
* Education and work experience: BA in marketing, analytics, information science, business administration, or related program; preferably 1-3 years of experience in a business setting
* Experience in marketing analytics, communications, or events planning preferred
* Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Experience with agile working tools including Trello and Slack is a plus
* Desire to gain practical experience in an international company
* Must be able to work approximately 40 hours/week from March - December. Potential to extend.
* Must be able to work in a remote location given COVID-19 related office closures
* Must be authorized to work in the United States
* Fluent, polished command of English language (verbal & written)
* Experience working in virtual and intercultural teams a plus

Youll be part of the Global Health Care PA Marketing team, consisting of the Global Marketing Senior Manager (Chicago) and a Global Marketing Coordinator (Chicago), under the leadership of a Marketing Managing Director & Partner (Chicago). Your team sits within the Health Care PA Management and Operations team under the leadership of the Global Practice Management Director (Nashville). You will work very closely and collaboratively with your colleagues in various other PA marketing teams, as well as colleagues in global, regional, and local marketing teams.
