The Information Technology Department has an opening for a Project Manager. This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Position Purpose
This Project Manager role will support Albertsons cloud engineering and integration services areas, and will manage all key project deliverables including, planning, scheduling, financial tracking, resource coordination and project status. This position will be responsible for driving workstreams in support of Albertsons Azure migration strategy and future cloud engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Build strong working relationships with business stakeholder and ensure project support and commitment
* Define project scope, deliverables and roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders, business partners and project team members.
* Lead and manage engagements and internal business partners to complete customer requests in accordance with established budget, work plan and scope.
* Own and identify issues critical to our operational success.
* Develop and present conclusions and recommendations to internal senior management.
* Participate and lead regular status and internal management meetings.
* Participate in the development of cost benefit analysis, associated budgets and tracking of actual costs spent vs budget and regularly reporting on project status to management.
* Assign and monitor work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on time and within budget.
* Identify, analyze, prioritize, and manage project risks. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
* Manage stakeholder communications and approvals.
* Manage project related documentation like proposals, progress reports, requirements, and presentations.
* Plan and execute deployments, support handover of project and necessary trainings.
Qualifications:
* 4-year degree (Information Systems, Business Administration, or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience.
* 4 years of project management experience, with an emphasis on information systems and technical project Management.
* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
* Strong background of working with or within Project Management Office (PMO)
* Ability to do project planning, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning, and risk assessment.
* Strong experience in Microsoft project or any other project management tools, financial management, scheduling, risk management capabilities.
* Experience in working with offshore / onshore model.
* Ability to understand project planning and develop project timelines.
* Ability to understand client expectations and recognize and escalate issues that may affect delivery.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate across various groups, build relationships and manage effectively in a matrix organization.
* Strong customer service aptitude and ability to follow through to resolve customer issues.
* Knowledge of process evaluation and selection of products, tools, services, and infrastructure components in line with an organization's business needs.

In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S. Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho. Joe knew the keys of running a really great store, and it was all about working hard for the customers: give them the products they want, at a fair price, with lots of tender, loving care. Joe was innovative, too. He had one of the first in-store magazine racks in the country along with a scratch bakery and fresh ice cream made in-store. He worked hard, seven days a week, on his vision to build his company, and through his inspiring work ethic and tireless
determination to run the best store, the first store thrived. Just two years later, he had opened two other stores in neighboring communities and grew the fledgling company’s sales to over $1 million by the end of 1941.
