What you will be doing

The Associate Experience Center Support Specialist is responsible for providing courteous, timely and accurate answers to associate questions, complaints, requests regarding payroll, human resources processing, benefits, employment verifications, and general employment. Requires some knowledge of PeopleSoft, leave management system, labor contracts, and general HR and payroll/tax guidelines and laws.

* Provide courteous, timely, and accurate answers to associates' questions related to payroll, benefits, and human resources processing.
* Answer and resolve incoming calls related to payroll questions and discrepancies utilizing available resources.
* Research and follow through on calls that could not be immediately answered within pre-established timeframe

What we are searching for

* High School Diploma/GED required.
* 6+ months experience frequently communicating (minimum 60 percent of the time) with customers by phone, e-mail, and/or face to face.
* Requires analysis, some judgment, and sensitivity to employee questions and issues.
* Some working knowledge of payroll, human resources, labor contracts, federal and state labor regulations.
* Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, leave management system, call center phone application, MS Office.
* Strong sense of customer service, verbal communication skills, business ethics, sensitivity to confidential information.
* Must be dependable and able to handle a fast-paced high volume call center atmosphere.
* Good data entry and mathematical skills

In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S. Skaggs to open his first Albertsons store on 16th and State Streets in Boise, Idaho.
