The Strategic Sourcing Department has an opening for a Repair Invoice Specialist. This position is located in our Deer Valley Office in Phoenix , Arizona.

Position Overview:
This position is assigned to a specific Division or geographical area. Responsible for monitoring Corrigo system and ensuring proper assignment of service requests related to the assigned Division. Vendor invoices are reviewed and processed according to vendor scope, backup, rates and invoice approval guidelines. Receive and take action on emergency calls via phone, email or system alerts. Has to be able to make decisions and be empowered to take action when the situation arises.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Review completed work orders from contractors and service providers (approximately 6000 work orders per week).
* Receive and review job close information to ensure work was properly completed and within scope and allotted hours.
* Monitor and schedule preventative work once a month or quarter, as needed. This is limited since preventative work is primarily handled by the agreement contracts.
* Serve as first point of customer service contact for stores, service providers, and other backstage users.
* Receive and ensure calls are routed to the appropriate contact.
* Escalate service requests if needed.
* Monitor dispatch board work for automated call routing, totaling about 90+% of all requests. Ensure calls are routed correctly. If not, troubleshoot the reason for incorrect routing.
* Troubleshoot and follow up with vendors and stores.
* Follow up via e-mail or voicemail when information is missing from the system.
* Misc. projects. Working with manager on cost-savings or program rollout; such as researching size of grease traps in stores; reporting trends for stores in plumbing reviewing estimates for Parts sourcing opportunities etc.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
* Customer service and communications skills required.

* Mechanical, refrigeration, contractor, construction, or facilities background preferred.

* Must have experience reviewing and approving service related invoices.

* Experience in dispatch preferred.

* Must be a quick learner and able to multi-task and prioritize a high volume of work orders.

* Basic computer skills required. Must have experience with MS Office programs. Experience with work order management system preferred.

In 1939, Joe Albertson, a former Safeway district manager, took $5,000 he saved and $7,500 he borrowed from his wife’s Aunt Bertie, and partnered with L.S.
