Job Summary:

The Regional Vice President of Sales provides leadership, direction, resource management and is the leader of leaders for the regions sales function within ABM Technical Solutions. Ideal candidate will be a facilities services expert in selling and providing Electrical Power and/or Mechanical solutions to commercial customers. Must be able to manage, coach, and motivate sales teams located in multiple markets through in-person or remote activities, and have a proven history of navigating in a complex selling environment. The Regional Vice President of Sales is accountable for overall sales organization performance, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals and for aligning sales objectives with a well-planned business strategy.

Essential Duties:

* Leads sales leaders within the region sales staff to exceed sales/booking requirements for their location
* Recruit, hire and retain sales professionals that exceed their personal sales plans
* Provide leadership to the sales organizations management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance and ethical behavior
* Leads sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organizational change, championing change initiatives and removing those obstacles that impede progress
* Create a one team culture to increase the penetration of services into each client opportunity
* Plan, lead and conduct strategic account plans and target project reviews on a continuous basis aligning and involving all levels and functions of the organization
* Coach staff on the methodologies for performing research to qualify and develop their sales strategies using organization tools already developed
* Leverage CRM platform to accurately forecast short-term & long-term sales and focus sales team on key performance indicators to uncover opportunities for improvement
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of leadership within the organization as well as each industry group throughout the enterprise

Minimum Requirements

* 10+ year history of successfully managing a sales team and/or other sales leaders, preferably on a regional or national scale
* The ability to communicate, counsel, and sell at all levels of the organization internally and externally
* Four-year degree, (MBA a plus) and experience in the Facilities Services: Electrical Power and/or HVAC services industry
* Evidence of experience leading leaders and integrating multiple lines of service in the service industry
* Must be able to demonstrate a complete understanding of a complex sales process from start to finish
* Must have strong written & oral communication skills, ability to effectively present to large audiences, and past success fostering relationship with clients
* Demonstrated understanding and success using and leveraging data from CRM platforms to elevate a sales organization (i.e. Salesforce.com)
* Ability to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
