Job Description
Position Summary:
The Recruiter supports recruiting and retention initiatives through active engagement with candidates, other team members, and external organizations to attract qualified candidates and develop a candidate pool to fill open front line positions. Primary responsibilities include candidate sourcing through external engagement, advertising, candidate communication, scheduling and interviewing of candidates developed through both online sourcing and external sources.
Essential Duties:
Develop recruiting strategies with hiring managers and direct supervisor.
Develop and engage with external partnerships to recruit qualified candidates.
Employs creative recruiting techniques including job fairs, college recruiting, referrals, networking and cold calling/direct sourcing of passive candidates; develop and drive external programs related to recruiting.
Assists with maintaining a broad range of external networks, research and source new recruiting avenues; develop and sustain internal and external contacts.
Develops an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as job vacancies necessitate.
Create and publish professional recruiting materials and advertising as needed.
Create requisitions for service worker positions in designated online sourcing and application tools.
Screening and Interviewing:
Responsible for screening and interviewing front line team member candidates
Coordinate with operations managers to screen and interview front line lead candidates.
Conduct new employee orientations.
Compliance:
Participate in the implementation of maintenance of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action strategies and programs in all aspects of recruiting and hiring.
Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding employment.
Manage candidate data tracking progress in applicant tracking system and online onboarding platform. Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required.
Strategic:
Meet talent acquisition goals as defined by operational needs.
Maintain effective working relationships with hiring managers and recruiting team members to ensure understanding and support for short and long-term recruiting needs.
Collaborates with managers and recruiters to design specific recruiting and selection processes, effectively administer selection and placement processes to meet those needs.
Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in State-of-the-Art recruiting practices.
Other duties as required to effectively and efficiently deliver high-quality recruiting support.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree, Some college is strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience.
At least 4 years of recruiting experience required.
Experience recruiting for a large company/high volume preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must submit to and pass a drug screen.
Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal, including successful completion of a background check and ten-year work history.
